I was not happy about the outcome of this fight or his previous fight with Nogueria, but they made me a fan of his.

Always hated that Arona lost this fight. He shouldn’t have; he was obviously a better fighter than Sokoudjou.

I don’t think there was ever a bigger hype around a dude, and deservedly so.

Within 5 pro fights, he managed to knock out Little Nog and Arona back to back and in less than 3 minutes combined.

Also, he got knocked out in the first round by Glover right before he went on that KO streak, which makes it even better.

I got to TRANE with “Judo Terry” back in the days, when he fought locally in San Diego. Super nice dude and strong as fuck…
