I'm ordering that thingie that allows import games to play on a PS2 so I'm wondering: is the GP game any good? Anybody play this? Graphics look alright and the game play doesn't sound like it's changed much. Has the Create mode improved?
You talking about the 2003 version?
If so.. its crap. All the characters you could want are there (Fedor, Cro Cop, Yoshida), it has side mount and a few other things that were missing from the original game, but the gameplay is just crap. Standup is boring and inaccurate, on the ground variety is very limited. I completed the whole GP on hardest level one of the first times I played it using Mino, and finished every one the first round with exactly the same sub.
The create a fighter is all in Japanese so I haven't used it.. looks unusable to me, but to be fair I haven't perseveared (sp?) with it.
The K1 games are head and tails above this.
