Pride Heavyweight Grand Prix
PREVIEW
It is Time Once Again for Total Elimination
by Jeremy Norrie

-------------------------------------------------------
To be a fighter in this day and age you not only need to be very gifted, skilled, physically strong, and in great cardiovascular shape but you also must be mentally sound and able to take on all comers even on short notice. The opening round for Pride FC's Heavyweight tournament was just announced merely days ago, and still some of the fighters are not certain who or even if they are fighting. These participants are ready to fight anyone, even on one days notice, and somehow they are not worried about it at all. This tournament could prove to be one of the greatest events the sport of MMA has ever seen.

First fight we'll discuss is possibly the most interesting fight on the card...

UFC 47
PREVIEW
Better Late Than Never
The Best Title Fight That Never Happened... Until Now
by Jeremy Norrie

-------------------------------------------------------
This UFC looks to be a great night of fights for not just the die-hard fans, but for the new UFC spectator as well. Tito is finally fighting Chuck Liddell and he'll be bringing in the big audience he usually does. The funny thing about this UFC is the fact that the other fights are possibly going to outshine the final battle. In a very hurried attempt, I'll break down the next show as I see it.

Tito Ortiz vs Chuck Liddell, well first of all...

UFC 47
RECAP
Best For The UFC - by Jeremy Norrie

-------------------------------------------------------
WOW. That's all I can think of. What a show. This UFC was one of the best ever. What a show and with 2 major changes, they pulled it off. After arriving in Las Vegas I heard quickly that Tim Sylvia was rumored to be out. At the weigh-in it was confirmed, he still had residual amounts of steroids in his blood. At least that's what we heard. So the big news was now instead of fighting Mike Kyle, they brought in Cabbage to fill Tim's place and fight Arlovski. In one day Wes Simms accepted to fight Kyle, and now it was really on. Tito did finally fight Chuck Liddell and he did bringing in the big audience he usually does. Despite what I previously thought, there seemed to be nothing that could outshine the main event, even the spectacular other fights that occurred.

its always interesting to see how your picks differ from mine, so feel free to post your thoughts on who will win or why you think I'm wrong...

Pride and K-1 are bitter enemies - definately not a sister company ...

Shockwave?

lol
they are not as bitter as you might think
fact is, they work together sharing fighters and putting together shows featuring fighters from both organizations

TTT

Shilt vs McGee, I am going to pick McGee by submission but standing if he's foolish enough to try and trade he'll get KOed
