So many people shit on the UFC for whatever reason they can think of. Everyone stepped up to save this card. Zuffa, Nate, and mother f**king Conor Mcgregor. 2 weight classes above... Damn!
Imagine all the shit talking and come at me bro taunts we're going to see. This is a more exciting fight than RDS for the drama alone.
I can't wait for this event!
So pumped for this!
Even though Dana doesn't think Nate is a needle mover.. mine moved a lot with this fight.
Im more excited for this than i was for the jones/dc beef
Bravo ufc
It's not two weight classes above. His coach said he is never fighting at 145 again. We all saw how he looked on the scales. But yes props for him stepping up to fight Nate at 170 who is a big dude
I am excited as helllll....
Vikingknee - It's not two weight classes above. His coach said he is never fighting at 145 again. We all saw how he looked on the scales. But yes props for him stepping up to fight Nate at 170 who is a big dudeHe last fought at 145lbs and is the champ. I think that classifies it as 2 weight classes above regardless of future plans.
Give credit where credit is due. I'm so stoked for this!
MDubz - Why everyone pretends like he's such a stud for going 2 weight classes up when he almost kills himself everytime he tries to make 145. He was way too huge for that weight class to begin withMDubz with the typical negative post. Listen man- everyone stepped up. Weight class gaps are huge. It's hard enough jumping one weight class above. GSP said he'd have to recalibrate his entire career, training, and strategy to fight at 185lbs. Think about that.
This could generate more interest now for this card
I hate this fight, so many better fighters for Conor out there than Nate.
Should be a cake walk.
Fuck yess babau
Winndaddy -Da Fock ?? Wrong wit you foo ??

It's not like he's facing a WW.
He is facing Nate diaz, a guy who couldn't even get big enough for WW when he tried to.
shaqitup - It's not like he's facing a WW.This. Nate isn't a WW. This is just a show up and fight matchup for both. I'm guessing they both cut like 5-8lbs to get to 170.

Diaz isn't a real welterweight, this would be like if GSP fought Jake Shields at 185.
I'm so impressed with how McG is so willing to take on anybody at any weight. I don't remember the last Champion that accepted so many late replacement fights and seemingly never batted an eye at any of it.
