I'm surprised at the attitude around here as we are nearing closer to THE FIRST PRIDE EVEN IN US. Sure, some fights aren't that competitive, sure, they might not do great in PPVs for there first show...
...but common, Pride is going to be in the US! Don't you remember those days watching Sakuraba in awe, seeing Coleman win the Grand Prix, and wishing there could be such as show in the US??? It's finally here in a couple of days! Fedor is going to be fighting in Las Vegas, I'm I the only one that thinks this is awesome!?
No tape delay, no chopped up PPV presentation... it's going to be all live. I abslolutely cannot wait. Anyone else feeling this way??? Or are we all just going to keep complaining about everything some more...
"i should get excited about a card full of mismatches and sideshows!? PRIDE could have put on a premiere card with all the talent they have but they chose not too..."
It's still a decent card. You're expecting them to throw out all their marquee match-ups in one event? Then what? This card alone still has highest level of talent we have ever seen on North American soil in... well perhaps ever.
