MARCH 9 - Fight Night 146!!!!

Ben's last fight was almost 3 years ago. He lost a razor-thin decision to Junior Dos Santos (50-45 X 3, but hey, that's just 5 rounds of razor thin 10-9's).

Ben takes on 16-2 Blagoy Ivanov. Incredibly, Ivanov's last fight was also a razor-thin decision loss to JDS as well! (Odd, but it was the same 50-45 X 3 scenario. WTF.)

Ben and Blagoy are finishers. So what if points-fighter JDS dragged them to decisions? Look at the stats:

  • Ben has finished 92% of the guys he's beat (and that's 33 of 36 guys! fuck!)
  • Blagoy has finished 76% of his 16 wins.

Someone's getting dropped in this one. These two guys have combined for 26 KO's and 19 subs between them. Get the mops ready, UFC. That canvas is going to be a mess when these two are done!

Bonus: This fight's in Kansas. None of that high altitude shit for these monsters! Cardio will not be an issue!

(Holy fuck! I just realized JDS is in the main event on this card!)

I just noticed that Ben re-entered the rankings at #15 last week. Surely just a coincidence. I'm sure Buffer won't even mention his ranking when introducting the fighters......

And he dropped back out of the rankings this week, but Blagoy entered the rankings at #15. So, still a Top 15 matchup, sort of.... Who cares, it's bound to be explosive.
