heya, couple questions..
Michigan amateur MMA is non sanctioned, and most promoters dont give a flying fuck if they report them or not since they are in it to make money, not for the sport so much..
So, can I submit my guys fight info to the site and have it on their record? Or does the promoter have to?
I know one of my fighters sent his info in to the person the site says to but hasnt heard anything back and it isnt up..
SOOOO...help a judoka out mma.tv..
Good question
I have asked about this in the past. It would have to be the whole fight card and approved by the promoter. I have 16 of these from New Mexico and Louisiana, and Indian reservation fights in Oklahoma, and would love to have more complete record than 1-1 lol.
I am missing 6 victories fom my record and all fights were in a state with a boxing commission.Other fights are listed NSF but were also in commissioned states.
I promote shows as well and we do everything on our end and sometimes it just doesn't seem to register.
good luck.
my record on here is 1-3.
i'm 5-4.
i've tried repeatedly asking promoters to plz submit results but if they don't care or aren't in compliance in some way, they just don't do it.
my understanding is that it has to be the promoter. i would love to find out i'm wrong and another way exists.
So unfair to you guys (the fighters)...There has to be a method to do this for you guys...Because the promoters simply dont care as its non-compensated work for them..
Hey, given that ammy mma in Michigan is unregulated, what rules do events usually use? elbows? knees/kicks to the head on the ground?
If the promotor sucks and doesn't want to submit the results, we can pressure them a bit. If you have a link to a website with the results, we will also take them that way, and it doesn't need to be the promotor who sends in the link. Also, if they are NSF fights and Sherdog has the event listed, we will considering adding the event after doing some research.
Q, i've been able to get some of the Hierarchy fight shows listed. I got permission from the promoter to send them in, then sent in the full cards that I had results for...
Elias, they all use unified rules..some make exception to banning elbows on the ground in ammy though..
The state requires a promoter to submit the full card.
Even for pro fighters, as long as you have a record, official or not, it most often is enough to book more fights. Once you turn pro its another story.
If you have the full card with winners, the site should be able to add the results as unofficial.
Sequoyah Sandford - @Jason http://www.fightmichigan.com/ this site has a majority of my fights on it.
give me some actual direct links to the event results and I will be glad to submit them to data entry.
