Shogun made him quit in his prime, he would murder Rampage now. <img src="/images/phone/apple.png" alt="Phone Post" border="0" style="vertical-align:middle;"/>
I think when you see a fighter driving around in a lambo, its a pretty decent indicator that the heart and the drive arent going to be what they were when he was climbing the ladder
Bipolar - Can't believe how many people are defending Jackson's embarrassing whining. He has shown nothing for years. Dude looks like he has mailed in every fight nowadays, and is just interested in collecting a paycheck. Like the last poster said, he should be 0-4 in his last 4 fights. Time to retire. Just the truth.
Shogun made him quit in his prime, he would murder Rampage now.
Rampage had broken ribs going in, you fuckin idiot
Only an idiot would actually think Page has anything for shogun at this point in there careers. Rampage just looks for that one big punch while Shogun is a complete striker.
kano350chevy - I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a Rampage fight... <img alt="Phone Post" border="0" style="vertical-align:middle;" src="/images/phone/apple.png" />
this
really? you have a horrible memory than cause when he fought chuck and than wand again in the UFC those were pretty memorable fights.
Exactly. And how long ago was that? Is this still going over your head?
Once set foot in that cage u are declaring a u are fully fit , yes injuries can effect ur abilities , movement , speed , agility etc. but u can't take anything from the guys who won ..... Besides I would love to see a fighter who comes out of a 10 - 12 week training camp fully fit
What current UFC fans fail to relaize is the majority of Rampage's fights were in a system that promoted aggression & penalized stalling or playing it safe. His most exciting UFC fights were against opponents who were of the same mentality ,& with the exception of Jones, he won in exciting fashion. His PRIDE losses were wars. His losses in the UFC have been boring. Rampage has a brawlers killer instinct. The current rules system isn't copasetic w/ Rampage's fight mentality. The Bader fight would have been completely different under PRIDE rules. Unfortunantely Rampage isn't evolving to deal w/ the opponent who won't engage & point fight or wrestlefuck...but I've been a fan since his KOTC days & will continue to be until he retires.

Shogun is a wild brawler and his hands arent technical at all. I never said page would have anything for him either, I said you're a fuckin idiot sayin shogun made him quit. He beat a really injured page
Look at the fight. He struggled slamming bader. I thought he was going to fall over midway up. No explosion like he usually has. His punches were awkward and clumsy. Dude was hurt coming in.

All I know is I wish the UFC would sign Arona so I could see that rematch. Slams? Slamless? Would love to know how it turns out even if there are none.
