Clearly their is no striking in judo.... So why do some people. refer certain strikes as a judo chop? Phone Post

miss placed steriotypes combined with ignorance on judo's difference from karate

 Judo kata do contain strikes at least once. I forget which one. So there is some striking in Judo, at least in classical Judo. But as said above, it is probably jsut people in the early 60s or whatever lumping Judo and karate together.
