Randy is a beast. But got to give props to Gonz, he is fast for a big man especially that kick.
I was impressed that Randy took it and kept fighting.
He certainly knew to look out for it let alone expected it.
mirko was also half dazed from getting his face bashed with elbows at the time of the kick. randy was very fresh. also had his arm up didnt block it full but partially blocked it. cro ate it right in the head.
mark hunt has been kicked in the head 3 or more times by cro cop and only got droppped once.
It really matters where you get kicked and how the kick was thrown
We know he has a better chin, but because of that we don't know if Randy has a better ankle than Cro Cop.
CroCop got caught right at full extension and ate the whole thing. Randy sort of stuffs it with his head and while getting shoved doesn't end up eating the full snap of the kick.
First fight no one knew GG could thrown down like that. Don't think cro cop in a million years expected that. Randy after seeing that first fight must have at least been preparing for the possibility of the high kick ie: the quick head movement on Randy's part. Makes a huge difference when your not expecting something and it comes from no where.
