In October 2000, Randy Couture entered the Rings King of Kings 32 man tournament, considered by many the deepest tournament talent wise ever. The tournament was open weight and played out over the course of three events. One fighter would have to win a total of five fights, three on the final night to be crowned champion
Other notable participants included, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, Ricardo Arona, Jeremy Horn, Renato Sobral, Kiyoshi Tamura, Dave Menne, Valentijn Overeem, Carlos Barreto, Bobby Hoffman, Volk Han and Fedor Emelianenko.

It was Arona had more takedowns and positional control.But Fedor had more sub attempts and landed better strikes.
If you ever see Big Nog vs. Ricco Rodriguez or Bas vs. Randleman,it was along those lines more or less.
