This is a funny thread.....It should be re-titled "Rashad is ready for his 1st KO loss"
Based on the guys who are in the division and signed, he's got to be CLOSE to a shot. I think they need to have him stop a A-list guy first though. His biggest sanctioned (not on the show) win was Bonnar. He won't fight Jardine, so they need to have him beat someone like Tito or at least Forrest first.
Right now, if Rampage beats Eastman, he gets the shot first. He's beaten Chuck before and has wins over more A+ level fighters than Rashad has even met, though.
Rashad is the Tony Romo of the UFC. No doubt he has talent but its time for a reality check. When he beats somebody in the top 5 then you can say he earned his title shot. until then stfu about it.
Rashid has 5 wins in the UFC in the last 15 months. He deserves a shot. He deserves the big pay day..

He KO's a no namer after losing most of the fight to him and you think he is ready for Chuck? I agree he is perhaps the best prospect the UFC has behind Rampage but I don't see Rashad doing well against the Ice Man.

That KO was amazing, but do you think that he'll catch Chuck misreading his kick and end up leaning right into it? Rashad lost the first round, there is no way that Rashad is ready for Chuck.

I don't think Bisping is anywhere near ready for Chuck. I'd like to see him get a couple more fights to polish up before talking about getting a title shot.
Rampage said he wanted 2 to 3 fights before fighting Chuck to warm up. Maybe he's trying to wait to ensure that the UFC was not just trying to feed him to Chuck with that two fight deal.
Then again, I don't know if anyone is ready for Chuck at this point. I mean I can't wait to see Chuck get a chance to avenge that loss to Rampage, but it looks like the UFC is throwing the second tier of fighters at Chuck because that's all that's left.
