To be honest, anything negative you can say about Jones' personality you can say about Rashad as well if not more so. Jones is just on top so of course he has haters.

I mean, fuck, guys...reading how some of you are so high on this guy I'm almost feeling like the only thing left to do in this sport is have the top 5 on the pfp list enter the octagon all at once and the man who emerges is the only one in the sport who deserves any credit, recognition or praise.
It's almost become a cardinal sin to hope anyone can even be competitive with Jones at this point.
Ive realized it's not the fighter I have an issue with, just the unrealistic praise and hype dumped on the guy.

^ That being said, I don't see Rashad winning this fight...unless he puts constant pressure on Jones from the time the bell rings until the time the fight is over.
It will be fun to see him prove me wrong though.

Agreed. It GOES BOTH WAYS. Jones has the advantage of knowing Rashad's tricks as well, even moreso since he has Jackson and co. coaching him.
Also, could somebody please explain to me why Jones gets so much hate here? The guy has been nothing but respectful any time he's interviewed. And when he's not (i.e. trash-talk), it's fairly tame and equal to the same thing that just about EVERY OTHER FIGHTER IN THE UFC does to promote their fight. What, Rashad and Rampage call him cocky and you all believe it just like that? Sounds like you guys are looking for a reason to hate him. People love to tear down those at the top.
Anyways, the fight with Rashad...their wrestling will cancel each other out. And if it doesn't, Jones will have the upper hand (bigger and stronger). Rashad wont get him down and it'll end up being a stand-up fight, which Rashad will undoubtedly lose. Jones has been walking through guys and he hasn't even started throwing combos or knockout shots yet, which from what we've heard, that's what he's working on next.

Evans is in the same boat Rampage was in. He's coming in to this fight with one single advantage and a narrow predictable play-book. Instead of a power advantage like QJ had, Rashad has a hand-speed advantage. That's all. That's it. That's one thing that JJ has to prepare for. Whereas Evans has absolutely no clue what JJ will be bringing to the table.
Stylistically they're chess vs checkers, poker vs go-fish, Evans will be a -300 or -400 underdog.
You're actually going to deny that?... Or, do you just not understand the implications? You see, because JJ has such a variety in his game, because he learns so quickly and will have learned plenty since they last trained, Evans can't realistically be expected to predict what JJ's strategy is going to be. Whereas JJ who trained with Evans, doesn't need to speculate, Evans will wrestle and box. That's it.
JJ could open the fight with a Lu Kang flying bicycle kick for all you or Evans know. He might open the fight with capoeira. Try being objective and realistic. Evans is predictable and transparent, JJ is not.

Rashad and Rampage are using the same tactic. They know that they probably can’t win the actual fight, but they sure can try to destroy their opponents image, at least. The whole, I am going to make you look bad even though I am the one who is going to lose, tactic.
