Honestly it seems like Machida would be too much right now. Maybe Brunson, but that's another really difficult opponent who has been in the top 10 as of late.
Nate Marquardt is also 37 like Rashad lost his last fight, to Sam Alvey. Two former title contenders and in Rashad's case he was also Champion.
What about rashad vs camozzi ?
Lombard and Marqardt sound like good options to me.
I think the UFC might play it carefully with Anderson in case he makes the most sense as GSP's next big money fight after Bisping.

I think Machida took a bit of his soul. Getting KO'd in such a brutal fashion has got to mess with your self confidence.
I feel like Rashad Lombard would be a disaster. Really bad for Rashad's future.
Rashad is a guy I never want to see fight again. He's been in wars, climbed to the top of the mountain, done way more than I thought he could. Now, it's just sacrificing brain matter for dollars, but he doesn't see that. I wish he would stop for his kids sake.

Rashad needs a top 5 opponent for a confidence booster. He should fight Romero seeing he's on the back burner for GSP/Bisping
ive been a big Rashad fan but his post Machida career has mostly made me sad.
He couldn't beat a less skilled fighter even with him waving his obvious bum knee in his face. Hang em up.
