Rasul was the fastest rising MMA star in Russia when he was signed to Bellator.....
before competing in the USA Rasul was arrested in a case that was seen all over the world and heavily documented inside Russia.
One of Sambo/MMA's best Russian fighters was arrested after striking a man who was intoxicated and verbally assulting his girlfriend - the man he struck hit the curbing on the road as he went down.... days dater dying from the strike.
Rasul was arrested and charged and served 1 and half years after being release on good behaviour.
Rasul has been released 2/3 weeks now and has turned up in Phuket - Thailand to train with Phuket Top Team MMA Training Camp.
An interesting story and a hugely talented fighter. He is very eager to return hard and prove he is the best in the world.
