If they renewed the Showtime deal, they're going to need fighters to fill up cards.
Like it or not, mayhem just got eaten by a guy most of you are convinced is no good as a fighter. Whatever the reason may be, that happened.
People keep pointing at other fighters, trying to draw comparisons- keep in mind, not all fighters draw the same pay. If mayhem fought for 10/10 and made up the difference with fotn bonuses, I doubt they would be so eager to get him out if the ufc's pocket.
