Re: MMA success - Which state/city/area...

In the USA has had the most success?

I remember Roger Mayweather saying that ALL the best boxers came from the Midwest.

When it comes to MMA, what part of the country/city etc would you say the best fighters come from?

And talking on a global level, which countries/cities are currently producing the best fighters?

Denver, KC are equal to NYC and are substantially smaller. NYC is atill above my city (Omaha) and about every other mid sized city. Minneapolis is up there, Miami, and Philly, places with tradition seem to have tough guys that are good fighter and smart fighters.

Denver. Off the top of my head...

shane Carwin, Marquardt, Ludwig, Magney, thatch, gaethje, my brother, Ron waterman, Dillashaw (now), mike nickels, brian Foster, Curtis blaydes, cody Donovan, elliot marshall, matt brown, joe warren, brian rogers, pat barry, rose, pat smith (og), brad gumm, myself, dustin jacoby (glory)

shit. There are probably so many guys I'm forgetting but I just ran this off my head real quick.

honorable mention to fighters that do their camps with us: james krause, zak Cummings, anthony smith, Megane anderson,
