It seems that Craig Buckley had to give up his title (rumor is it that he had some very good opportunities come his way outside of MMA, so congrats to him on that).
I think Kittredge vs. Jesse Peterson is a good pick to fill the now-vacant 185-pound title. I like Jesse very much, but Kittredge's intensity might be something he isn't used to dealing with in MMA. That's a tough pick, but after seeing how Kittredge dealt with his last fight, I'd have to give him the slight tip of the cap (but I hope Jesse proves me wrong).
Hammerstrom vs. Campbell could be interesting, too. Campbell got himself a big win at the last RFNH, but Hammerstrom went on to get just as big a win that same night. It's hard to bet against Hammerstrom's experience on this one.
(NOTE: IMO, the winner of LaMotte vs. Coon would be a good #1 contender for the 170-pound title...but what do I know?)
That's going to be a great fight. Nate is a freakin' animal and will be super tough to deal with. I couldn't believe how much trouble he gave Spiegel in the last Reality Fighting NH show.
Allen, thanks man. It will be a great fight. We have nothing but huge
respect for Nate and he knows it. The real winners in this one are we the
fans for getting to see a great fight between two excellent wrestlers,
competitors, and people. ttt for the RF NE Middleweight Title Fight.
