just re-watched this fight, and i thought id post it here to refresh some memories.
big country is a badass dude, but obviously not to the level of fedor. and if nelson could get andre down, and so easily get into side control... dont you think fedor can? and will be able to finish?
i think fedor wins this bout in the first round by whatever way he chooses.
and btw, i still think the stand up call in the first round was complete garbage.

Irule - Well technically Arlovski took him down, but the momentum, and Roy Nelsons shape, made them roll over.
with all this talk of arlovskis questionable ground game, the fact remains he's never been subbed. all roy had was the begining of a kimura. hunt had an americana on fedor, and no one who has a clue would say fedor sucks on the ground.
fedor is certainly a deserved favorite, but i don't think people are giving andrei the respect he deserves. at his best he's very very good.

FWIW, roy never got arlovski down by anything he initiated.
