Good to see reebok feeling the heat. The ufc obviously doesn't give a shit and just digs its heels in when stuff like this happens. They need reebok to put the fear of god into them.

This is what it says:
"
Reebok:
UFC fans: We have no input on decisions of UFC employment or fighter compensation. Our focus is providing the best gear for fighters & fans.12:03 PM - 22 Jul 2015
"

Ill take that as Reebok not liking the bad press associated with UFC actions. Who would of thought Phone Post 3.0

Whether or not they are to blame for any of this, it's saying something when they still feel a need to publicly address it. Getting messier all the time.

sorry Reebok, you are all in...

you don't get to benefit from your relationship with the UFC and distance yourself from the uneasy parts - the Zuffa/Reebok alliance is massive and all encompassing, Reebok can't cherry pick its influence...

Brendan Schaub's podcast fans, Stich supporters, people who just want to laugh at 'Giblert', the ridicule over $95 shirts, you bought into all of it...

welcome to the thunderdome, bitches

this aint crossfit

If Reebok was able to get this kind of deal from the UFC, imagine what kind of concessions would have been made if Zuffa signed a deal with a company people actually care about.

LOL @ no input on fighter compensation.

Meanwhile in Reebok Headquarters: "Hey check out this picks from this fighter chick PVZ! Isnt she hot? Lets give her more money."

'...we are the exclusive sponser of the over 500 UFC fighters, but we have no influence over fighter compensation...'

Holy Shit, the corporate BS knows no bounds

Wow...The tipping point is coming, and coming fast...

shit..if all their focus is on providing gear, then they got serious problems...

"guys, stop putting the onus on Reebok, it's on Zuffa."

Like Zuffa gives a shit what MMA fans think. I find it funny Reebok addressed the issue publicly before Zuffa.

SensoriaUtopia - guys, stop putting the onus on Reebok, it's on Zuffa. It's not Reeboks fault that Zuffa went and scooped up their shitty product and took their million to them directly and okayed that horrendous fighter sponsor pay that Reebok is giving, it's on Zuffa, they where the ones who agreed to it.

If your buddy takes you to a shitty one direction concert, you can't get pissed off at one direction, they are a shitty boy band, but they make that obvious, its on you and your buddy for being stupid, or naive enough to go.
It goes both ways, shitting on FIFA didn't do much until people went after the sponsors.

Nothing will change though, Zuffa will bury their head in the sand and move on as usual and no one will care again in a week. Phone Post 3.0

Whatever your logic is fuck Reebok for putting handcuffs on and not allowing theses cutmen or low level fighters to go after other sponsors Phone Post 3.0

LMAO at Reebok trying to distance themselves from the UFC in this matter. It hasn't even been 3 months of exclusive sponsorship yet and they are already doing damage control.

Not buying something is one of the easiest things in the world.

They are business partners. Reebok knew this was a steal and would hurt fighters(they knew how much fighter made before because Adidas sponsored a few of them before the deal), and they still took it.

This is the price of doing business on the cheap. Maybe if they had paid 120 million instead of 70 there would have been money to go around and every fighter and fan would be happy decked in crappy Reebok gear cheering at the events.

But they took a deal where they paid little money so the rest has to be paid in bad press.
