DH: Is it important to you that you finish this fight?


 


RB: I hope to put on a good fight against Faber, and as I always do. I always look for a knockout or a submission. I think the public likes to see this and what I want is to put on a great show for them.


 


DH: Are you hoping to unify the title against Cruz next in Brazil should you defeat Faber?


 


RB: Yes, yes, yes! It would be the best! Fighting in Brazil, before a crowd that really motivates me would be the best, because when I started fighting in the WEC and so far in the UFC, I've only faced opponents in their home country. Now it's my turn.


 


DH: In conclusion, what are your thoughts on Cruz's style?


 


RB: I think it is no accident that he holds the belt. He's an experienced guy who is in great shape and has great technique. His fighting style is a bit different from mine as he uses more strategy. I hope to find out how good he is very soon. It will be great.

Although Urijah Favor is a tough adversary, I approve of of a unification bout in Brazil if he gets past him.

I think the winner of faber/barao will have to defend the interim belt at least once because Cruz wont be back that soon.

whoever comes on top between barao, faber and mcdonald will likely beat crux because that injury is gonna slow him down and the layoff is gonna cause enough rust to nullify is patty cake fighting style.

It would be bigger in Brazil than SD I think.

Any time the UFC can put on a title fight in Brazil they should do it, the fans make a great atmosphere. Especially for a title like BW, which isn't exactly marquee status yet.
