According to surveillance footage and legal documents, three masked men driving a black Audi parked outside Bottega Veneta at approximately 5:01 a.m. on May 24, broke the glass on the front door with a sledgehammer and entered the store. The trio piled numerous stolen handbags inside the vehicle then proceeded to drive away at 5:05 a.m.
Police later tracked the vehicle to a nearby garage in Akersberga, where Madadi was eventually arrested at 6:21 a.m. Broken glass matching the glass at the scene of the crime was discovered on Madadi's person.
