i think arona might be the most underrated fighter of all time. he kept his chin high and his fundamentals weren’t up to par. but he was a fucking monster who competed with and arguably beat the some of the best.

First guy who legitimately defeated Fedor years ago… not sure how that would have escaped me but I came across it about 2 back, doesn’t seem like the thing I wouldn’t have take note concerning.

it was close but last time i watched it i gave it to arona. and feodor is my favorite.

his kicks are savage. nobody’s going to teach you to kick like that but rampage said they were the hardest he ever felt in his career.

Guy was amazing in sport BJJ and he was great in mma. Was he good in the Gi too?

I always wanted a pair of shorts like those.

i’m not sure. i’d imagine he was good but i didn’t follow his jj career.

I think Rampage said he got the hardest kicks from Arona. And yeah people kept on saying that about his chin all career but he never got touched thru his prime thru all the most dangerous strikers. Not until Sokadjou went on his brief run.
