Rich Franklin's brother

Greg. It was cool seeing him reff last night. He's a retired mma fighter with a record of 1-4

 Pretty good ref too.

I had to rewind when I saw him for the first time. Phone Post

Looks like Rich and Ricco combined

In person he almost looks like a twin to rich...just a little doughy. I saw him fight at a local small show in cincinnati once and he lost. He was getting ground and pounded and the ref was ready to stop it but rich was in his corner screaming and yelling at the ref telling him he better not stop it.

He reffed one of my fights and tried to basically pin both of my arms against my back, holding me against the ropes, while screaming at my corner to "control your fighter"...it was a shit show. lol

Great call, Bobby Lupo!

haha definitely Phone Post

He's been reffing for quite a while. I remember seeing him in MW shows many many years ago.

Never made any calls that I have found outrageous.

jimbobyeaboy -  This has got to be at least the third time he ref'd a Strikeforce on Showtime event. I'm surprised you didn't recognize him before. Phone Post

 my shame is great

Greg is a good dude and solid ref. Lord knows we need more of em. Just wish he could judge too Phone Post

I landed a solid shot(1st punch of the fight) and dropped my opponent, and then hopped on him and was landing some pretty one sided gnp. It got to the point that I was just holding his face down and hitting him...I guess his defense was to back away on all fours under the ropes and Greg pulled me off. Everyone there, including myself (and apparently the time keeper, because there is no official time listed anywhere) thought it was over...so I'm walking back to my corner and he spins me around and says "fight"...people starting yelling in a wtf moment...and it restarted on the feet. I basically immediately dropped the guy again and pounded on him until he pulled me off. Then he acted like I went all Tony Galindo on the guy and pinned me up against the ropes and started screaming. I didn't give a shit but my corner was about to hop in the ring because it was sooo over the top. Watching the video I never even hit the guy after he tried to separate us. It basically turned into a joke, and we would yell "Control you fighter" at the gym at each other afterward. He was cool when we talked to him after the show and everyone left happy..so no-harm-no-foul.

Lmao, it turned into an awesome inside joke for you guys.

I saw him lose to Terry Martin. He was half outside the ring locked, and got locked in a kimura. The ref just let it go.

I think the attendance at the show was under a 100 people and the card had Sam Hogar, Rory Markham, Laverne Clarke vs Mac Danzig, Terry Martin, and Bartimus in the main event.

I think Jason Guida was fighting at 185 on this show. He lost by DQ, and was in the middle of an 0-6 streak.
