HDNet will be on hand to film highlights for their Inside MMA show.

In the Main Event, two rising mma stars will clash when Jeremy Larsen ( 5-1 ), from Arizona Combat Sports, faces Bellator veteran Victor Meza ( 10-2 ), from the MMA Lab. The winner of this bout earns a well deserved Welterweight Title shot against Alex Garcia ( 9-4 ).

In the Co-Main Event, ever popular Joe Cronin ( 14-13 ) faces undefeated upstart Chad Williams ( 2-0 ) in preparation for Cronin's upcoming grudge match against Estevan Payan ( 8-3 ) on July 31st at Celebrity Theater.

In featured bouts, former RITC LHW Champion and Strikeforce veteran Matt Lucas ( 9-2 ) takes on undefeated Jose Santa Maria from California, Charlie Brown ( 8-2 ), from the MMA Lab, goes against karate stylist Leonard Wilson ( 4-4-1 ), heavily experienced fighters Carlos Ortega and Josh Rabadeaux will battle for the vacant RITC Bantamweight title and an exciting matchup is anticipated when Jason Richey ( 3-0 ) fights David Shaw ( 3-1 ).

The major local schools ( MMA Lab, Arizona Combat Sports, Lion's Den, Team Pit MMA, RITC Training Center ) are well represented along with at least 10 "new comers" making their MMA debut.

sounds like a great card

i actually train outta tucson

and ill be 18 in a few months. Ive been training for a few years and i wanna have my first amateur fight pretty soon after i turn 18 which is mid november. Do you know how i would go about doing that
as far as promotions and stuff goes?

Pretty easy just click Here and then click on the fighter info tab, get the medicals done with the proper paper work and shoot John (JPet) your email address on here

And if you go to a gym here in Tucson someone from the gym would have some experience in getting fights for fighter's out of their gym more then likely

Thanks Justin - your advice is right on !

Here's some of the important stuff without having to go to the web site.

18 is a little old to start fighting by AZ standards..... Edwin Dewees and Joe Riggs were all in RITC by 14.. J/k good luck

We have a 13 year old we have game checked a few times, I would put money on him taking that rookie on half pint brawlers

RUSRedDevil - the good old days when we didn't have a Commission to deal with. Edwin choked out a guy in 53 seconds and the guy complained about the stoppage. Edwin just said "we can do it again ... TONIGHT". The second time that night it took Edwin 73 seconds to choke him out AND this time he tapped : )

Darrell - speaking of the "old days". Seems like I haven't seen you around in years. Are you still alive ? Do you still have your motorcycle ? Have you given up on your "farewell tour" : ) ?

Cade - should I try to add more bouts : ) ?

I remember the first RITC I went to seeing Edwin fight twice in a night at the wildcat house, good times
