10-Time World Champion Rick Roufus Challenges 14-Time World Champion Evander Holyfield to a Heavy Weight Fight
The Fight of the Masters! Legend vs. Legend!
With all the changes in the world of boxing and not enough heavy weights that make for a good fight for either champion, it only made sense for the best of both worlds to collide in the fight of the decade.
With Rick Roufus at 47 years of age, 218 pounds at 6ft., and Evander Holyfiled at 50 years young, at 218 pounds and 6ft. 2 in., it was only inevitable for the two champs to finally meet in the ring.
A true traditional boxing champion, Evander Holyfield is an American professional boxer with 57 fights, 44 wins, 29 by knockout and 14 World Titles. He is the former undisputed world champion in both the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions, earning him the nickname “The Real Deal”.
Kick Boxer Rick “The Jet” Roufus is an American Kick boxing champion and one of the most famous kick boxers in the United States. With 78 fights, 65 wins, 44 by knockout and 10 World Titles. Rick also recorded 18 professional boxing fights with 11 wins by knockout and won the 1996 WBC Continental Americas Cruiserweight Championship.
Trainer Freddie Roach who say’s it will be a great fight also stated that with no real heavy weight match ups for these two classy fighters, this should be a great final showdown.
The Roufas camp has made numerous attempts at contacting the Holyfield camp. “We want to set this fight up for September of this year, said producer David Krapes of Push Kick Promotions (PKP). We have sent out messages to many of Holyfield’s people and they seem very interested but have not given us a solid answer.” The event would be set during the week of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Mr. Olympia when over 170,000 people gather in Las Vegas.
With over 300-million kick boxing enthusiasts worldwide this would be a great pay per view opportunity. Two of the top fighters in the world representing the U.S.A. will fight for the first Inter-League battle of the world. It will be a traditional boxing match. No kicking? well i hate to say this but holyfield will win, unless Rick can transition his stance to a boxing stance and deliver a technical brutal display
I have always liked Holyfield because he has the heart of a lion but he should not fight any more because he is already slurring his words when he speaks

Voted up. Holyfield was my only real boyhood sports icon. I wish he would have retired a long time ago. He seems destined to end up like Joe Louis. The guy is just piling on damage incurred.
