Yahoo.com's Kevin Iole recently spoke to UFC Women's Bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey about the growing problem of PED use in MMA:

"People need to realize that is a weapon and they're bringing a weapon into the cage and they're making our sport unsafe," said Rousey, who is scheduled to fight Cat Zingano at UFC 184 on Feb. 28. "The day that a person dies in that Octagon and the person who killed them tests positive for performance-enhancing drugs, we're going to have our first homicide case. It's going to destroy the whole sport.
"Do you think that one little pay-per-view getting a couple of extra views is worth that? No, it's not [expletive] worth it. I think there needs to be as strict of drug testing as there is for the Olympics, maybe even harder."
Ronda said this last year in April. GSP is copying her.
"I'd be honored to fight a competitor like Gina, who is an example of what real respect and honor is in the cage," Rousey said. "I really think with Cyborg taking all of those steroids and hormones and then going into the cage, it's like going in with a weapon. It's certainly very negligent, but it's also criminal. I believe, it really is. Promoting her would be promoting that act and I think it would be wrong in every way.
Does anyone think she will eventually get popped for PEDs? Just like everyone who has talked shit about ped users, and been caught shortly after. Or is this all just stoned nonsense?
No one died in PROIDE or the 90's UFC and it was pretty much the wild wild west back then as far as testing (or lack thereof). Only people who have me nervous in that regard are Cyborg and previously Overeem when he fought in Japan with a pharmacy's worth of drugs in him.
