Saenchai is so much fun to watch, there is a reason Pettis studies him.
What kind of rules were those with no gloves?
That was amazing

Thai Fight has been holding more fights without boxing gloves, kind of a throw back to early Muay Thai.
EckY -I was wondering the same thing. I'm a fan.Wasa-B - What kind of rules were those with no gloves?

It's called Muay Thai kaard chuek. Quite a few events these days with bigger name fighters joining in - Saenchai, saiyok etc. I like it.

These chuek fights! Kind of a freak show but... yeah, Saenchai is something to behold.
I posted this earlier this year -- Yodsenklai Fairtex under these rules is scary scary scary. Check out the hand and elbow combinations.

Watch the Duke Roufus on the Rogan podcast, he talks about how he and Anthony have studied Saenchai. That cartwheel kick Pettis has attempted is something he took from Saenchai, who has clean KOd guys with it in the past.

I trained at Sinbi gym when Saenchai was there. He's really small in person and it amazes me how he can pull off ko's like the one from last night. Amazing skills though. I used to just stand and watch in awe when he was on pads.
