i wonder why San Shou isn't as popular as bjj? it seems like a great defensive art that combines kickboxing and judo.

Problem #1, not a lot of quailifed teachers here in US right now

Problem #2, people don't like getting kicked and punched and THEN thrown on their asses :)

Hmmm, getting thrown on my ass is not so bad. Getting dumped on your head...that's when it I see it becoming an issue.
