Forrest has always looked HUGE every time I have seen him in person. The 1st time I met him was in VA and he didn't have a fight coming up. I am sure that I'm off but he looked to be between 250 and 260lbs!

The next time I saw him, he was getting on the elevator that I was on. It was the day before he fought Bill Mahood. He was eating a banana and looked around 220lbs. He was joking with this old lady who said MMA is too violent. He said it isn't violent at all and that they just loved getting hit in the face.

 First time Forrest tried, EVER to make 205 was the IFC in 2003.  He went to 202, lol. 



 The MOST he's weighed since then has been 241lbs.  This was a few days after eating 76 chicken wings among other things.  Even when he is between fights, he rarely hits 230-231.  He's told me eactly how much he's weighed the day of fights and it's under 220lbs for sure.   So when he's in the cage, the night of fights, he's BEEN 220 before, years ago, but is a little less.  It's almost down to a pound or two range that he likes.



When he first started training in 2000 or so, he was much bigger since he lifted a lot.   When he was amateur HW he was fighting at like 230-235, and first cut was for the Sonnen fight at IFC 2003.
