In a Japanese magazine Ken basically spilled the beans about Pancrase so they terminated his contract and all the other lion’s Den fighters contracts too. But Jason had gone to Ken and bought out his contract all the fighters signed except me ours was just verbal and I paid him half what the others did in their % per fight they owed him. Jason bought out his contract and went back to Massachusetts. I think guy saw that as being a traitor cuz he left lion’s den and kept fighting for Pancrase for years. I totally see guys point,we were Lion’s Den,we were the best there was and got bloody everyday at the Den as a pack of killers but killers bound by what we represented at that time the best in the world
But in reality Jason could of just took off or said fuck you I’m gone but he did it the right way

Ken could go on every TV channel on the planet and have a hour long special about his steroid abuse but that wouldn’t and never will change one of my life rules. I do not speak about another man’s business, period, the end. If you ask me about mine I will tell you whatever you want to know, Ken and I were friends and anything we did was just our doing,no one else was ever involved in anything we did.

My wife, Cimone and I always babysat Ken and Tina’s 3 lil guys,Ryan, Connor and Shawn and we were at the hospital waiting in the waiting room for Tina to have Fallon. So yeah I think it’s safe to say I knew and cared for those lil regrets. When Ken was in that movie viruatousity or however you spell it with Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe. Him and Tina went to LA for a week for the red carpet deal and all. That stuff. Cimone and I took the boys to see the movie in a little theater in Lodi. The place was packed. When Ken comes on the screen Ryan stands up on his seat and as loud as he could yell. Yelled"THATS MY DAD"!!! Everyone there turned around and looked at him like is that kid ok. I just said loudly well guys sorry but that really is his dad,lol.

In the early days of the lions den when you guys would kick the fuck out of each other to get jumped in and then to train, what was generally considered off limits (eye pokes, fish hooking, groin strikes, spine attacks, small joint manipulation, back of the head etc?)

When I left Ken flew to Dallas and lived with Andy Anderson for 3months signed to fight Oleg in the supermatch in ifc1 in kiev Ukraine. Andy’s woman at the time was Marissa she’s on my face now as Theresa snipes. Mayo and I from I think ufc3 til now just clicked. She has been a true friend for at least 25yrs and always supported me even when she didn’t agree with me. We talk on the phone often.she always laughs when she brings up when we were arguing cuz I had broken my left hand on Joe in the ultimate ultimate 95 was on a 60 day suspension til my doctor would clear me and Campbell McLaren sent me a letter that as soon as the doc clears me call because they were really looking forward to beginning my new contract with them at the UFC. So to train for Oleg I decided like I had lots before to cut the cast off and start training. Mayo saying don’t not again I’m still cutting she still saying no I’m still cutting now we look back on how much fun we all had in the ufc and how even today after 25yrs we are still very close. You hurt her you and me are going for a ride,I will straight pull your card. So it’s nice to have long time friends from the beginning of the UFC. That and I cherish the pain,all the pain I inflicted on teammates, opponents,hell any dude I relish that.if I told you my life story you’d call bullshit and walk away, lol. But I regret nothing. When he got on Facebook messenger and told me that in this new book he was going to be truthful. So if women or drugs come up tell the truth. He asked that since for quite awhile we were friends outside of fighting that anything we spoke about as friends would stay with me. Anybody that wore pajamas in the cage and fought like a bitch off their back.didnt even realize there was only Lion’s Den and the Gracies. Maurice Smith turned Ken and me than other guys onto the steel Thai cup. It was steel painted blue had foam on the edges and shoestring like string to tie them on. You could get hit with a pipe or bat and not even know it.mine had little white marks all over it from being hit,kneed and kicked so much it wore pieces of paint off. No chicken shit things,eye pokes,fish hooking,throat striking be a man and fight like one challenge fights and jump ins where the non lion’s den guys did that shit myself and Ken and other fighters changed their lives. It’s hard to wire a face back together when all the bones are the size of little pebbles. Okay think I got it if I missed one pipe up and tell me.

In my line of work before and after I fought there were strict rules and mottos I never deviated from like…no women, no children. I did not get my bone breakers tattoo on my hand from an unnamed club because I was a loose cannon. I was a ghost. So for 100 million dollars offered my answer is and will always be that the people at Pancrase treated me extremely well both financially and personally so what I know about the fights,and I know everything about everything will stay with me,period. Do some detective work it will stun you when whatever it is you figured out. The same as I told dude about Tina, he got dangerously close to digging his hole with a shovel. I give 2 fucks what anybody sez about her in a book,interviews, whatever but you say it to my face after I said it’s fuckin business of yours anyway you will see the other side long before you wanted too
