I remember reading that the boys in Bob’s home would settle their differences in the swimming pool.
I guess that Bob would have them do this in a empty pool.
Was spotting him once and he maxed out at 605pds. For a 6ft,220pd guy that’s some serious weight. We used to do inclines for sets of 5 with over 400pds. Declines sets of 5 with over 400pds. Don’t ever get it twisted when we were young both of us had power that made other guys at the gym stop and just watch. I used to do skullcrushers with 350+ in sets of 5. Did he have other redeeming qualities. In the beginning yes he did but when he got famous it became the Ken shamrock show. Jason once said something that fit the whole shit show perfectly

When I worked for Bob in lockford they would put on gloves and settle it in the backyard. When we moved the Den to a big warehouse Bob would bring them all in ,in a big van and fight it out in the Thai ring

That when I was gonna open a lion’s den in redding ashe bowman was there . Kool cuz ashe is a good guy. I was with my buddy who was a Hells Angels and Ken told me I had to take on robbery as a partner. Mikey and I walk into a weight gym see robbery he turns around and his eyes are bugging out his head. There are countless interviews with Ken where he flat out says ever since I was a little kid all I wanted was that the world to know and then remember my name. Sadly that is said by a little 9yr old boy living in a dumpster behind 7-11.

All hype. Pushed by task always calling Ken glamorous. Never was gonna happen no money in it. Tank wanted a big payday. But for a fight that was gonna be Ken shoots takes him down then rips one of his apedagances off his body in a minute was not gonna be a money maker

Ken? Of course he feed off of fans for adoration and to bolster his very low self-esteem and they made him feel wanted. I found it very sad but a worthlessness that had been engraved in him since he was little.
I don’t ever talk about Bob because of the conversation Ken and I had after his and fries fight. But Bob was not who people thought he was. He was a coat tail rider,a balled face lair,a diva,a gossip machine, a back stabbed and very jealous of something that he had no normal right to be jealous over,selfish and without going into details a very disturbed individual

I did a shit load of interviews for it but learned decades ago that whatever comes out his mouth is self serving grandiose I conquered the world utter and complete bullshit. If anybody ever thinks they’ll get an honest history lesson from him,put the Crack pipe down. When it’s written it w be by someone who has honor and respect built in his DNA and would never disrespect his ancestors by lying to make him self look good. Honor comes with honesty good or bad tell the fucking truth. He’ll you will never hear me talk about my skills in plumbing, electrical work, construction, fixing a car,electronics, computers and etc. You know why cause I have no fucking clue how they even work much less how to fix them. Do I feel ashamed about that no,maybe abit retarded but don’t ever take credit for shit I didn’t even know happened. My view point

Constantly we argued all the time. I didn’t want to be his protégé like the Japanese wanted I wanted minimal wrestling like how to sprawl and then go to yauki lopezsgym who was multiple belt holder in multiple divisions cousin and box and go up to the Thai boxing gym in Sacramento but Ken taught everybody exactly the same.
