MMA Fighter Shane Carwin's training regimen comprised of years of scientifically targeted nutritional stacks developed by Max Muscle Sport Nutrition available online at www.MaxMuscle.com

In what may be the biggest Pay Per View Event of all time, Max Muscle Sports Nutrition athlete and UFC 106 heavyweight title contender Shane Carwin has engineered a career in which he literally came out of nowhere to become the most talked about athlete since Michael Phelps. An American mixed martial arts fighter who competes in the heavyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), he is currently undefeated and holds a notable victory over Gabriel Gonzaga. None of his fights, UFC or otherwise, have made it past the first half of the opening round. All of his fights have been fueled by the advanced nutritional supplementation he receives from Max Muscle Sports Nutrition.

"If this were a NASCAR race, I'd say that Max Muscle Sports Nutrition is my Pit Crew" said Carwin in a pre-fight interview just before training. "I've been taking supplements for more than twenty years and I've tried everything that's been on the shelf. Max Muscle is by far the most superior supplement on the shelf that I've ever taken as far as quality and taste. Beyond that it's all about performance and I don't want to mess with it."

Max Muscle would be a great name for an MMA fighter.

First name Max

Mad Max Muscle (insert last name here)

Nahhhhh lol

:/

Not a huge supporter of this company

Good for Shane though. He deserves every penny he makes from the sport and sponsors.

Sean WTF 1) being targeted by the US government does not equal guilty (see the constitution). 2)how does one franchisee being raided affect the overall quality of the corporation or what Shane is doing with them.

When federal agents led by FDA special agent Jeff Novitzky raided Maurice Sandoval's Pacifica, Calif., home and the Max Muscle store affiliated with Sandoval's American Cellular Labs supplement manufacturing business

If one McDonalds owner gets raided do you put the whole company on blast?

OriginalTUFer - "Shane Carwin has engineered a career in which he literally came out of nowhere to become the most talked about athlete since Michael Phelps."

O RLY?

This is where I also went WTF??!

ttt

Guys, getting a sponsorship from outside the MMA space is HUGE. The supplement business is HUGE. And it has always gone to bodybuilding. MMA is now the thing every kid wants to be, so the companies are moving in, and that is ABSOLUTELY TREMENDOUS news for fighters.

This story is great, great news, and it is just getting started.

Not only do they get it but they are paying him monthly. This is not a trade your logo on his ass for a few grand this is 365 days a year. Shane has a guaranteed base and unlimited upside. He is paid fighting or not. The more companies that understand it takes full time support to really be a part of an athletes team.

Carwin was sponsored by Max Muscle before he even fought in the UFC. I'm sure the support has grown since.

The reason why it's a soft topic for me is for a few reasons:

1.) Methyllated steroids are unproven and dangerous
2.) Tons of kids around high schools these days are using these pseudo steroids.
3.) Fighters like Sean Sherk and Vitor Belfort were fucked over by supplement companies like this who didn't do their homework.

You may remember Vitor Belfort testing positive. Where did he buy his supplements? Max Muscle.

You might also remember Nate Marquardt's story:

In his own words: "I never thought it'd be an issue. I'd been taking some over-the-counter supplements at a Max Muscle store. It was something like what Mark McGwire took, androstenedione. I never thought of that stuff being tested. It was a stupid mistake.

Now don't get me wrong, Shane deserves the money he gets. I've just been really pissed at ALL supplement companies promoting these garbage steroids to make money off of kids and ultimately screw over fighters.

So ridiculous to come on and bash a new sponsor. In my dealings with corporate they are very selective in who they allow to own a Max Muscle store. The people who buy these stores are into health and nutrition so a few owners might have issues and fighters who pissed hot said it wasn't them. How that relates to this PR and Shane isn't clear. Thankfully your in film school and not law school.

I'm not attacking you or Shane. Congrats to Shane on his new sponsorship.

By the way your last comment was pretty snide. I brought facts to this discussion so it didn't need a backhanded insult like that.

I have no agenda against you. A couple people on this website know me personally and can attest that nutrition/supplementation is a huge part of my life's research. I have a well educated opinion on the subject and I'm extremely passionate.

Oh and good luck to Henderson vs Cowboy. Hopefully you can work your magic and get a Henderson vs Varner super fight here in Arizona. I'll be rooting Henderson on.

I don't even know who to root for, I used to hate Lesnar, but I wouldn't mind seeing him put Carwin away.
