The only competitor to give Nunes a close fight was Valentina, and I actually scored that a Valentina victory. Tate should absolutely come back though. Only Meisha knows how she felt and what was going on prior to retiring, and there’s a lot to be said for taking a break from the grind and regrouping mentally and physically. Also, she’s a mom now and some women become stronger mentally, physically, spiritually, etc. after having a child. I’m def rooting for her, and after seeing some recent training highlights it looks like she’s improved her stand-up.
Honestly, it’s women’s MMA. She’s probably still capable of beating 90% of the chicks in the division and could probably fight for a title with a few wins.
