I was looking at Howard Combat Kimono's (Competition Single) and Sirius Kimono's (ultra lite gold weave - traditional kimono) as well.
Atama summer weave for $77.
HCK Standard Single - $70
Not big gaudy logos. Simple and clean design, it fits me well.
the koral wand gi is pretty plain. nothing too flashy.

Sirius single is fine IMO - I like the cut and the weave. But the drawstring is weak:S

The Howard is bullet proof. If you want a no frills gi that will outlast anything else you could buy then the Howard is the deal. It's a bit rough though. It ain't no soft kimono like gi like a Koral or Gameness. You have to be a real man to wear a Howard though. It leaves nice abrasions on your training partner when you grind your shoulders into their face. Some people complain about the roughness of the fabric and say they need to wear a t shirt under the gi. I don't have that problem. I think the unbleached is a bit softer than the white.
