The World MMA Awards, operated by Fighters Only magazine, were created in 2008 to recognize and celebrate the achievements of people who make MMA such a great sport. This year's awards culminate with a black-tie, red-carpet ceremony that takes place December 30 at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The event airs live on Versus.com and throughout January on Versus.

Sityodtong Fighters in Upcoming Local Fights: Tateki Matsuda, Moose, Lewis Corapi and Jimmy Davidson all fight at GFL in Concord NH on 11/7. Chris Cape and Rick Hawn fight at CFX on 11/14 at the Jungleplex in Plymouth MA.
Jorge Gurgel, who has been training at Sityodtong over the last couple of months, will face Billy Evangelista in the main event for Strikeforce on November 6th. The event will take place from the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California and will air live on Showtime.
Marcus Davis will fight Ben Saunders at UFC 106 which will take place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on November 21.
