Smoliakov sacked from UFC then DQ'd for 2 years

Dmitry Smolyakov is disqualified for two years after leaving the UFC

Russian heavyweight Dmitry Smolyakov, who was fired from the UFC in the spring of this year after a defeated defeat to Greg Hardy, was disqualified for two years due to failed doping testing.

Representatives of the US Anti-Doping Agency officially announced that the urine tests that Smolyakov provided on April 22 and 27 gave a positive result for hormones, erythropoietin and gonadotropin, which are on the list of prohibited substances.

Recall that the 35-year-old Dmitry Smolyakov held three fights under the UFC banner, losing to strangulation to Luis Enrique, and losing technically by knockouts to Cyril Asker and Greg Hardy.

The next fight Smolyakov will hold on October 12 at the Fight Nights Global 94 tournament, and prison fighter Maxim Novoselov will become his rival.
