We know Tony has had Dustin’s back and wants to fight him as well. So you think Tony turned down the Chandler fight and UFC said, well fuck both of you he will be the back up then
Think Tony wanted to just fight Dustin and Dana didnt want to pay Dustin so it is what it is. Likely see them two headline a fight night or be maybe they can add it to UFC 255 which has two title fights but it's Figueiredo vs Garbrandt and Shevchenko vs Maia so adding that fight will get some hardcores to buy the PPV as neither of those title fights are big draws.

Maybe they still make Dustin / Tony out of nowhere. If one of the negotiating problems was being on standby for the main event, that’s no longer an issue so maybe Dustin will finally settle on pay.
Is it smart for Tony or Poirier to taje a fight with Chandker at this point though? I mean, most UFC fans have no clue who Chandker is so if he comes in and beat Tony or Dustin, that looks pretty bad for their career.

The UFC will hype Chandler so the fans know who he is before he steps into the cage.
Think it was foolish for Tony and Dustin to not take that fight.
I think it's really cool that a guy who lost his 155 title in Bellator to a 145'er gets to come over to the UFC and bump Dustin and Tony for a 155 title shot.
