I don't agree with Dana's decision on cutting Miguel and although I can see how Dana reasons how it's different than the other rape comments,I disagree with his reasoning.
That being said, if you want to see Miguel back in the UFC then attacking Dana is just going to make him dig his heels in even more just to prove a point. He is principled and stubborn enough to react that way.
I have and always been a fan of Miguel as far as how he fights, what he does for the community, and that he pays homage to the Grandmaster Carlson Gracie! Hopefully he learns from this adversity.
you mad
this guy
I won't stop.
I'm twittering that bald bastard now
Never
I've been blowing up his twitter non-stop since it happened, and have all my friends doing it too. So there!
me mad? Tell me something I don't know. Correction, I shouldn't tell people what to do, just consider it.
Dana is a stubborn man, constantly bugging him about the situation is just gonna draw it out longer. Let it die down and for him get his point across. Then, and only then, will he reconsider the longterm severity of his decision.
flood danas mail with cock pics till he gives in
fucking Lurker
we should be bothering dana about those free DVD's he promised
Dana is a business man over everything. I think he was WAY off base on this one personally. Fans not showing they care would only allow him to care even less because it would not be like he hurt his bottom line or anything by letting a fighter go. However when fans got nuts and will not give up until they see their fighter back in the UFC that will show that he may need to take a 2nd look at it. Those fans are the reason why Forrest, Rampage, and Rashad have not been fired for the things they have said or done. Had they been low men on the totem pole they would have been let go in a heartbeat.

I agree with what you are saying here, I twittered Dana myself about it, but Dana doesn't seem like the kind of person that will submit under pressure from fans.
I don't think protests are what got Forrest, Rampage, and Rashad reinstated. I think Dana just had more time to talk to them before making any rash decisions.
If he would've talked to Miguel first instead of firing him on TV because he shat himself when he heard about it, he probably wouldn't have done it.
f*ck this thread, Miguel will be back. It's just frustrating watching the Bears play right now! Damn't Hanie!
Dana says (about UFC fighters) "We're dealing with smart guys." Correct, Dana, you are dealing with smart guys. The fighters, however, are not. The fighters are dealing with Dana, who is not a smart guy. He is a boxercise instructor who went to high school with two billionaires and knows how to kiss ass. And expects his fighters to know how to kiss ass as well as he had to.
I bet ten years from now, people will point at the Torres firing as the beginning of the UFC's descent. Can't wait to see who/which country/company supplants the ufc as the NFL of MMA. Hopefully, pre-2012 will be remembered as the dark ages of mma (as far as the treatment of fighters)instead of the golden era.

They are doing well given....

If Dana is going to "dig his heels" just to prove a point, then he needs to grow up. We're talking about a man's job and livelihood here. Yeah yeah, he can and will fight elsewhere, but the UFC is the only real game in town, these days.
