I wish there was a Gi version of EBI. In my experience, there are an infinite # of subs with the gi as opposed to nogi, not to mention waaay more guards. Dont get me wrong, i love EBI, i just wish we could see the best of both worlds in that sort of winner takes all format.

Everyone knows that legit submission-only formats involve one or all of the following: points, fixed time periods, referee decisions and sudden-death overtimes based on positional dominance.
Ah, there's the confusion. Our tounaments are actually submission only. There aren't ever any time limits.
Well, the ones that are submission only, anyway.
