We are starting a Submission Wrestling Club in Toronto, for now we are renting Minoru Dojo
Fees:
$10 drop plus a $10 for a 1x membership fee
or
$100 for 14 classes (1x membership fee waiver)
Schedule:
Every Sunday except Holidays, 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm
Starting this Sunday 10:00 am December 21, 2003 (if you drop in this Sunday 1x membership fee is waiver)

Sorry for any confusion, if anyone show up and didn't see us, (we left around 6:25 pm) we had scheduling conflicting with the traditional JJ class at Minoru Dojo. So we decide to just hang out.
But Starting Next Sunday The class is starting at 10:00 am

"Little Mohammed" looks like a badass. Legit wrestling and judo... has he competed in submission wrestling only tournaments? Just wondering, I'm obsessed with submission wrestling and like to follow all the competitors I can and this guy seems very tough.

No, at this moment he hasn't, He was alway busy training for the Ontario Provincial Judo or the Canadian National Judo Team.
So he never got around entering any submission wrestling event.
He might, now that we are starting submission wrestling club.
Our goal is to produce a good stable of fighters within the club to represent Mohammad/Club
I will tried to post up some of his judo tournament on my site.
Also he mention that he is going to give me some of his wrestling championship video tape to put on the net.

its a good class..... like some stuff (ground) seen in bjj or judo (and i have much respect for my bjj and judo instructors) and definately wrestling i have never before seen in my life but stuff people have always wanted to learn (i see people in non-wrestling clubs try to teach themselves wrestling and non-wrestlers in tournaments get dominated by wrestlers quite a bit)
i feel like after only 1 or 2 classes i have a big advantage over the average joe ....... i think if people would come out to one class they would not want to leave...
ummm.. unfortunately the best techniques will probably not be posted to motivate people to come to class (if you see zeerebel in person ask him about the guillotine escape :) you wont like being on the receiving end)
