Is Tawara-gaeshi legal if you have a head and arm instead of the traditional hands around the waist?
I would think so. It's funny we did this last week in You almost never see it in competition.

I've used it a bunch of times in wrestling practice and a few times in nogi competition. Got a DQ once for it in nogi.
This is what I'm talking about. The rules are getting touchy with anything involving the head.
