UFC middleweight Terry Martin will make his professional boxing debut on April 11 at "The Odeum Rumble" at the Odeum Sports and Expo Center in Villa Park, Illinois.
Martin will take on Mansfield, Ohio's Ricardo Upchurch, who will also be making his professional boxing debut in the cruiserweight bout scheduled for four rounds.
Martin trains boxing with Andrew Golota at Flo Mixed Martial Arts in Palatine.
After stopping three UFC opponents from October 2006 to May 2007, Martin has dropped his most recent two bouts. The 27-year-old was knocked out by Chris Leben and fell victim to Marvin Eastman's first UFC win.
Martin is currently billed to face Xavier "Professor X" Foupa-Pokam at a Combat Fighting Championships event on May 17 in Newcastle, England.
