On Saturday, September 25th, the Royal Thai Embassy of Washington, D.C. will be hosting its annual "Thai Heritage Festival" from 10am until 8pm. The Festival will feature Thai Music, Dance, Crafts, and Food. Also featured will be the national sport of Thailand, Muay Thai!!!
The One Spirit Martial Arts Muay Thai Team will be performing two Muay Thai exhibitions at the event. We will be joined by another local Muay Thai Team from Northern Virginia. The first demonstration is scheduled between 12 and 1pm, and the second demonstration will is scheduled to be between 2 and 3pm. Each performance will be for approximately 20 minutes, and will include demonstrations of kickboxing techniques as well as live fighting!
The Festival will be taking place at Freedom Plaza, which is located on Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, D.C. between the National Theater and the Old Post Office Pavillion (right near the Washington Monument).
