He was gonna drop after the varner fight but then they gave him another lw fight he just stayed there.
If guys like benson henderson, gray maynard, etc... are dropping down to 155, then these guys need to drop to 145 because it's wide open.
guys who were jobbers at 155 like manny bamuryan, mike Brown,, etc...became contenders at 145. The division is better now than those days, but look how great Oliviera looks at 145.
cerrone is gonna likely lose to the top 155lbers... and there's nothing wrong with that, but why not make a legit run at 145?
guys like guida and edgar have to resort to point fighting in order to compensate for the size difference... please save us the boredom and go to your natrual weight classes.
