The "maumoco" technique is a single leg choke from guard...it can be done from lots of diff guards i like the rubber guard intro work well in NOGI set up like a triangle but with a twist... i used to call this my single-leg triangle/ monoangle....
i see your point but with my technique, it is made for Vale-Tudo / nogi app... and done either with the other leg for added pressure, but not need... Its has many dif app and small details... please subscribe to my youtube channel i have a few unlisted vids
obrigado
MAUMOCO
Cool variation!
Can't view it:(
I've seen this move go by many names, similar to a pillory choke. Always great to see uncommon moves brought to light, thanks for the vid!

I can't view this from work. I'm going to check it out when I get home. I haven't seen it yet, but my coach says it's similar or same as a technique that I use. I call it the LBC Choke (Cause I'm from the LBC, duh). I'm glad someone else sees the potential of the submission. Like he said, in a MMA situation, you still have a hand free to do as you like. If I get this in a live bout, I'm going to take a little time to give my opponent a "Noogie" or a "Wet Willie" before I get that tap. LOL.
I'm interested to see if he has any other ways to set this up besides what I already use.
Nice work Tonny.

Are you well qualified to represent the LBC? Will all people in the dance agree?

I grew up in North Long Beach/South Compton area.
I stayed in the Four Corner Block to be exact.
PS, that was a nice reference though.
