the Chris, bitches. Additionally, Woodley has a competely warped tkdd percentage of 92%. Who has tried to take him down other than Rory (success finishing in modified cross) and Det. Shields (0 for 18)? BTW who won the Shields fight?
At least I admit that Woodley could still KO Demian with his 24% KO ratio (5 of 21 fights, fuck off with Condit) and suspect victim list (exception of known trader Lawler). He could win a boring decision. Or Maia could gas with the failed trifectas of takedowns, guard pulls or scrambles to back mount. Then he could get KO'd later. But I don't think so. You guys are so cocksure Maia has no chance.
You forget that this isn't Folkstyle, Freestyle or Greco. The takedown element in MMA is properly referred to as MMA Wrestling. And Demian might even have the edge. Hell Woodley hardly ever uses his. Who won the takedown battle between the Junior College guy who can't get out of his own way and the Olympian guy from Die hard?
@matthew this post is wildy non sensical, at times makes completely no sense and yet i very much enjoyed it. Not that we can see vote counts anymore but vtfu friend.

Save your backhanded compliments.Simply because you may not understand, doesn't make something nonsensical. It only illustrates a way in which you manage ignorance, so that you will feel okay about your lack of comprehension.
I sometimes expect a baseline of critical thinking on here which simply doesn't exist. I will translate for the layman and those unfamiliar with critical thought.
The entire premise is based on a common thread throughout pundits, UGers, analysts, etc. That being that X fighter has Zero chance against a Wrestle Boxer; this especially if one happens to be a BJJ specialist. This false narrative has been largely fueled by Joe Rogan's declarations, this despite all available evidence. And lord knows you freaks hang on his every word. He is the master of the false narrative. Him and DC actually thought Masvidal won. Any rational being who watched that fight with no sound recognized that it was not even close. This narrative is omnipresent in the lead up to this fight.
My idea was to dispel "the conventional wisdom" that Demian has zero chance. I provided empirical, verifiable evidence to illustrate that he actually has a very good chance. I used Fight Metric to verify my premises. In fact I went through all the Wrasslers he faced to see who and if he blanked. All while tempering that with a possibility that Maia could get KO'd quick, after gassing late or survive a borefest. This unlike your average millenial halfwit poster or know nothing pseudo analyst a la Luke Thomas. This is not the same thing as the Conman vs the woman beater. And even in that realm, the conman has a chance, albeit south of 1%.
Most people on here have opinions supported by nada. The problem is that even those can be correct (broken clock and all) and stooges can feel validated.

Great analysis.
Like I said you have opinions supported by nothing. It awesome when you prove me right instantly.
You better hope you have one of those 2 X/ day, broken clock. Even the sun shines on a dog's ass every now and again. Just not tonight.
Mr. Mathew4freedom, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

The trick is to not focus on the words, but instead to enjoy the feeel of what is being said. It's impressionist posting, and I love it
