The sport's biggest bonus award winners are retiring soon

Only 17 fighters in UFC history have ever earned 10 or more FOTN/POTN awards.

11 of them are current or former UFC LW’s who are still fighting in the UFC or elsewhere.

Given their ages, they will all likely retire within a few years of each other here soon.

Two of them have already left the UFC. Its been a fun ride and these are not easy to replace fighters or careers.

Oliveira holds the record for most awards at 19. Dustin holds the record for most FOTN awards at 10. Barboza comes in 2nd for FOTN at 9.

Of the thousands upon thousands of fighters who have competed in the UFC over the years, only 14 fighters have earned 6 or more FOTN awards.

12 of those fighters competed at LW in the UFC at some point in their career.

Cub and Lytle are the only two none-LW’s in UFC history to ever earn FOTN 6 or more times.

RDA will be retiring with them as well.

You better be very close to a title shot and be one of the very best in the world to have a shot at beating RDA and thats been the rule for 16 years.

Probably one of the most underrated careers in MMA history.

In the past 16 years, RDA has had 35 UFC fights and only prime Stephens, Guida, Alvarez and Fiziev found a way to put RDA away.

Khabib, Tony and a lot of the best WW’s of this era like Lawler, Usman, Edwards, Covington and Luque all failed to find a way to stop RDA.

RDA’s longevity and strength of schedule has been legendary and he has done it across two weight classes.
