There is a watchable fight this weekend actually. And, no, I don’t mean the match between ‘Sweet Pea’ Askren and Jake ‘High Tech’ Paul.

But, Andrade vs Liam Williams.
3:20 min (at weigh in) for a bit of pushing and shoving.

I found it to be actually a fun scrap. The scores were wide but that didn’t tell the whole story. Williams was tough and game, and caught Boo Boo a few times. Not rocked, but buzzed.

Andrade got Williams down, but it wasn’t like his past fights were after a couple of rounds he just coasts. It was more interesting than that. I wasn’t scoring the fight, but the ‘feeling’ of the fight, I thought, was like a 9-3 8-4 fight. With Williams earning credit for toughness.

I feel Ruiz’s boxing and speed would be too much for Whyte. But I wouldn’t mind seeing it.

Maybe, although as well as AJ they have another common opponent in Parker.

Both of those fights, Ruiz vs Parker, and Whyte vs Parker, were very close fights. Ruiz losing out, and Whyte getting the W.

I think it would be very competitive.
