Also I’m not dogging Khamzat here. This is all the UFC here. Not many guys want to fight Khamzat as is and they’re even less likely to do so with the UFC rigging the tables for him, the few guys that do want to fight him are shot down by the UFC.
He has star potential but he’s not there yet. Khamzat v Whittaker is not a ppv main event according to UFC standards unless a title is involved. And since the MW title is being actively defended there’s no excuse to slap an interim title on the fight. Lol you’re ignoring all the historical precedence to make your own narrative.
Anyone can see that Khamzat’s next fight is going to be a PPV comain. It makes the most sense.

Khamzat/Burns and O’Malley/Yan were perfect fights to headline Fight Nights. Some people accept that they weren’t because the hand is quicker than the eye and a sucker is born every minute.

I think O’Malley would have finished Yan if that was 5 rounds but heading into the fight it was obvious the intent the UFC had and it smells fishy af
